Making a proper checklist at the final stage of the event is a must do work for every organization. It will not only save your time but also remind you the things which have been done and the things which are pending.
Review objective of trade show and exhibiting plan. Everybody involved in trade show should completely understand the objective of the show.
Make a final meeting with event team to check the final details, confirm schedule of booth etc. You should clear all the question in that meeting.
Call your agents to confirm all the materials related to the show is arrived. Check the place, where you will pick all your materials. Also confirm the details of return shipping once the event ends.
Confirm all your travel plans. It is better to call your car rental agent for getting a car on rent and the Hotel for confirming room request prior to the arrival.
Re evaluate your marketing strategies after completion of the show. Check all the information collected by the visitors including letter, packets and other should ready when you are returning from the show. Your checklist should include the follow-up initiative just after one weak of event.
Before leaving your office, just change your auto reply and voice message, so that people can know that you are out of the town.
Do Not forget to carry your business card, company brochure, stationery along with you.
Give a copy of your entire schedule and detail of itinerary to your office member. Also provide them your alternate contact number.
